DJ Premier Is Producing Loaded Lux’s Next Project
Fans of battle rap and boom-bap beats can rejoice as arguably the top producer in hip-hop history is teaming up with arguably the top battle MC in history for a collaborative project. With his Royce Da 5'9" collaboration done, Premier is moving on to his next venture and announced that he and Loaded Lux are teaming up.
"We haven't put it out there but we've been having verbal meetings about doing an album project together," said Premier on SiriusXM's Rap Is Outta Control show. "We're gonna make that happen."
Hopefully this doesn't fall the way of the Nas and DJ Premier project, the KRS-One and DJ Premier project, and the numerous other "DJ Premier x [insert artist here]" that have been rumored to come out over the years.
