The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

Corey Finesse is one of the new promising rappers out of Brooklyn. Formally a member of Bobby Shmurda's GS9 crew, Finesse has been able to transition easily into a solo act. Currently signed to the NuLa Entertainment imprint, the East Flatbush rhymer is best known his street single "Vagabond." In 2017, Finesse teamed up with fellow New York rapper Marc Mavrick to release the street cut "Derek Fisher," which now has over 1 million views on YouTube. With his debut album, God’s Plan, set to drop real soon, Corey Finesse is looking to become one of the new, rising voices in New York hip-hop.
