Chance The Rapper is nominated for seven awards at the 2017 Grammys, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album, but he's gonna have a big night even if he doesn't bring home any trophies. Today (Feb. 2), it's been announced that Chance will be performing at the show on Feb. 12.

He's done late night shows like Colbert and Saturday Night Live before, but the Grammys is a different stage altogether, and he'll most likely be performing for the biggest national audience of his career via TV. It's a huge moment for the Chicago rapper.

Chance is going up against 2016 XXL Freshman Anderson .Paak, along with Chainsmokers, Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini, for Best New Artist, and he'll have to beat De La Soul (And The Anonymous Nobody), DJ Khaled (Major Key), Drake (Views), ScHoolboy Q (Blank Face) and Kanye West (The Life of Pablo) if he wants the Best Rap Album award.

His single "No Problem" with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz is also nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. Peep the entire list of nominees for the 2017 Grammys right here.
