Cassidy was recently arrested in New York City and charged with driving on a suspended license.

The Philly rapper was riding around in the Chinatown section of the city on Thursday (April 13), when he was stopped in a police roadblock, reports TMZ. According to the celebrity gossip site, cops discovered Cas was driving on a suspended license and arrested the rapper.

With the recent number of vehicular run-ins with the law, rappers might want to start thinking more seriously about taking Uber everywhere.

Back in January, Plies was arrested for DUI in Florida. He was pulled over by police in Hillsborough County, refused a blood alcohol content test and was taken into custody. He was released later on the same morning on $500 bond. Dash cam footage later surfaced of the arrest, which caused the "Ritz Carlton" MC to lose his license.

Last month, Vic Mensa was arrested in California after he was pulled over for running a red light and was found to have a concealed weapon that wasn't registered in the state. He could face jail time if convicted of gun possession.

Earlier this week, Tory Lanez was stopped by police for driving with expired tags in South Florida. He ended up getting arrested when police found weed and a handgun in the vehicle.

Cassidy hasn't put out an album since 2010's C.A.S.H. and has been dabbling in the battle rap scene recently. Last October, he dropped the mixtape, Da Barbarian, and is currently working on his latest album, Mr. Hip Hop.
