Power 106’s Cali Christmas was a big performance that had the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Big Sean gracing the stage. Rap-Up TV was able to catch up with Sean before he hit the stage to speak on his upcoming album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player.

He described the album as being similar to his inspirational vlogs about his career. “It’s like an emotional roller coaster. You happy, hype as hell, sad as hell, real shit, motivational shit. It’s a great body of work, so I’m excited about it.”

He also revealed some of the collaborations for the album. You can expect Jhene Aiko, James Fauntleroy from Cocaine 80s and his G.O.O.D. Music crew to appear. He wants to leave a legacy with this effort as well. “If you look at people like Bob Marley or even Tupac or ‘Ye and Jay, they’ve taught in their own ways. I want to make sure I teach and leave a legacy.”

Watch the video above that also has him describing his plans for the holidays.
