Atlanta rapper, Big Boi, was recently interviewed for the 6th Annual Shorty Awards, an award show glorifying the best in social media, to answer questions about his favorite social networking sites, apps and of course, the rap game.

Big Boi revealed he’s not one for beefing on the Internet, or as he would call it, “thug thumb activity.”

Big Boi jokingly exclaimed whenever he’s on Facebook he avoids all attractive girls from high school who don’t weigh 300 lbs. or more.

The OutKast emcee, who made his musical debut in 1994 with fellow OutKast member Andre 3000, also offered advice to any artist trying to break into the industry.

“I think they should be outchea trying to go to college,” he said. “There’s so many rappers outchea, but I think it needs to be more people that’s outchea focused on something other than that. But if that’s your passion then do it. But if you suck balls then just know that you outchea fucking up.”—Morgan Murrell
