03 Greedo has had a life-changing breakout year, but a darker part of his past seems to be catching up to his success. Last month, the California rapper reportedly pleaded guilty to both charges of possession of more than 400 grams of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

While he remains hyper-focused on his music before he serves a sentence that could be up to 20 years, Greedo shared with Billboard in a recent interview that his time in prison will be detrimental to his life. After the outlet asks the Watts native to address his reaction to serving any prison time, he states that he doesn't want to talk about "something that's going to ruin my life."

"I don’t wanna talk about that," he expresses. "I don’t wanna wake up and think about that. I understand it’s your coverage, but people are asking me about something that’s going to ruin my life."

As of right now, Greedo seems to be preparing himself for any and all outcomes in his case, as he seeks to create 20 albums before he has to serve time. The "High Off Me" star tells the outlet that he has already made 13 albums and is working on one of them with DJ Mustard.

"Thirteen now. I’m wrapping up the one with Mustard tonight," he reveals. "We kind of had lost contact, but shit’s straight now."

While confirmed details of his sentencing have not been revealed to fans and the public just yet, 03 Greedo's priority seems to be making sure he solidifies a legacy in the game. The rising star also recently pitched himself to land a spot on XXL's 2018 Freshmen cover, which will be officially revealed this summer.

Be sure to check out the rest of Greedo's interview over at Billboard.
