Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

03 Greedo, a native of Watts, Calif., prides himself on making emo music for thugs. With his penchant for singing, rapping and producing, the Alamo Records signee is a triple threat, displaying his talents across his many thumping odes and jam-packed projects. From 2016's Purple Summer to 2017's Money Changes Everything and his recently released The Wolf of Grape Street, 03 Greedo doesn't disappoint—even when most of his tapes consist of 30-plus tracks. Songs like his resilient track "Never Bend" (his most streamed song on Spotify at more than 1 million) or the snap-happy banger "Beat That Thang Down" featuring PnB Rock prove his versatility. 03 Greedo is a beast on these beats.

Now that you've watched his pitch below, it's time to vote. The 2018 XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
