Another day, another hip-hop beef. Troy Ave and Joey Bada$$ have been going at it for the past month, using their music and respective social media accounts to take aim at one another. After cooling off for a few weeks, the two are back at it again.

The most recent activity involves Troy using Instagram as his sounding board to showcase a 2015 interview featuring Joey on Ebro in the Morning. The Pro Era leader praises Troy for being an independent artist like himself. "At some point you gotta have a level of respect for Troy because at the end of the day we're both two independent artists who's standing on major platforms next to a whole bunch of major artists...," Joey states.

But the caption is where Troy goes for the jugular. "HE POP $HiT OUT THE SAME LIPS HE USE TO SUCK DICK ......," he writes on Instagram. "Listen to this dweeb saying "FACTO FAcTS Tho" YOU OUT HERE Speaking LIKE ME SHIT HEAD that means Either YOU or people close to you Are INFLUENCED BY ME $HiT HEAD THAT JEALOUSY & ENVY can only be hidden but for so long Ex: ENVY - speaking like Troy cause he's cool and u kinda like his style Ex: JEALOUSY - Taking shots at Troy in tweets and Songs because he's hotter then me in the hoods and the streets and I'm tired of people mistaking me for asap rocky I want the #RealOnes to be my fans not these#47Roaches #47PiecesOfPasta #BSBrecords #RealVsFake."

If you've been out of the loop, this beef has been brewing for a while. Last month, things got heated when Joey dropped the Statik Selektah-produced track "Ready," in which he takes a slight jab at Troy's dismal album sales: "With the 80/20 split do the math, my n---- Kirk just outsold Troy Ave."

After the Major Without a Deal creator got word of the diss, he went from zero to 100 real quick on "Bad Ass." But rather than lyrically aim at Joey's head, he decided to bring the late Capital Steez into the mix.

"Don't get suicidal like ya friend, here's a casket/Steez burning in Hell, my burner's in my belt/I'm really killing shit, you n-----s killing yourself/Fucking weirdos, off the roof/Steer clear yo!/This niggas tryna fly, he think he a superhero/Splat man! Fuck you and that man," Troy delivers.

Speaking ill of a dead man didn't work in Troy's favor with artists like Styles P calling him out for being insensitive to suicide. The BSB Records artist offered an apology as a result and perhaps the backlash is the reason why he also issued a suicide PSA in the "Bad Ass" video.

But things didn't end there. This week, Troy dropped his new track "Good Girl Gone Bad," which finds him sending more shots at Joey. “More realer than Joey Bad, he’s a sucker, you feel me?” Troy raps.

The B4.Da.$$ creator decided to head over to Sway in the Morning to flex with a freestyle and didn't leave his fellow Brooklynite out of the lyrical conversation. "You took a cheap shot, hating, only shortened your life," Joey rhymes. "Difference between you and him is he lives forever/You be the first to die who nobody ever remembers/'Cause the city never need you ever/You committed career suicide and made New York better/I gave you one line/You made a whole song/Here’s some more rhymes, you be working year long.”

While Joey didn't call out Troy by name there, it's clear which rapper he's aiming at with lines like "I des-Troy Ave-rage rappers." Joey's bars are likely what prompted the "Bang Bang" rhymer to dig up the Hot 97 interview to fire back off the mic.
