Troy Ave's new song "Good Girl Gone Bad" seems like it would have no place in his feud with Joey Badass. The song has a simple premise as the Brooklyn rapper explores a familiar trope. Troy Ave even tries to show off his singing chops on this one. But "Good Girl Gone Bad" adds a little more fuel to the fire of the Badass beef as Troy couldn't help but name drop his rival on the record.

"More realer than Joey Bad, he's a sucker, you feel me?" Troy Ave raps on the second verse.

While that one line is not as inflammatory as the track "Bad Ass," it is clear that the beef between Troy Ave and Joey Badass is far from over. The feud between the two New York rappers got quite personal after Troy said that Joey's friend, the late Capital Steez, could "burn in hell." The situation even saw Styles P get involved after Troy doubled down on his comments about Steez committing suicide. The battle continued over social media as the two antagonized each other earlier this month.

"This is me headlining at okeechobee festival in front of approx 25,000 fans," Joey Badass wrote with a picture of himself on stage. "Yes that’s right I have shows and the capacity are more than 4x your album sales."

Troy Ave responded by posting a video of his song "Bad Ass" being played on Hot 97. He also added another dig at Joey and Capital Steez.

"Rock out they gon play this hit on the radio dawg, and [you] gon be like damn why they playing this for," Troy Ave wrote. "I’m tryna burn up the charts they tryna burn up in hell."

The situation seemed to be settling down the past few weeks, but obviously the tension is still brewing.
