The Troy Ave and Joey Badass beef continues as the former gives the visual treatment to his diss track "Badass." Interestingly enough, Troy Ave kicks off the music video with public service announcement for suicide. This likely comes about as a result of Styles P checking Troy Ave for his insensitive statements on the matter.

The attempt by Troy Ave to be less crass about the subject of suicide does seem a bit hollow when you look at the song he's releasing a video for here. "Badass" features some now infamous bars about Joey Badass' late friend Capital Steez, who committed suicide in 2012.

"Don't get suicidal like ya friend, here's a casket/Steez burning in Hell, my burner's in my belt/I'm really killing shit, you niggas killing yourself/Fucking weirdos, off the roof, Steer clear yo!/This n---as tryna fly, he think he a superhero/Splat man! Fuck you and that man," Troy Ave raps on the second verse.

As for the music video, nothing elaborate is done here. Troy Ave keeps it simple as he unleashes his Joey Badass diss with the help from a few scantily clad women. There are some shots of Troy Ave on a rooftop, which could be coincidence or another audacious insult thrown Joey's way.

It has been awhile since Joey Badass released any new music or videos addressing Troy Ave, but it is clear this is far from over. Just last week, Troy Ave threw some more shots at the Pro Era rapper on his single "Good Girl Gone Bad."
