August Alsina Gets Heat for Touching Woman’s Breasts During Performance

Well this isn't good. August Alsina is in some hot water after a video of him groping a woman on stage during his performance over the weekend went viral. The former XXL Freshman was performing in Baton Rouge and can be seen rubbing and squeezing the woman's breasts on stage in the video. The woman stops August and moves his hands up. The 15 second clip made a lot of people upset and they took to Twitter to voice their opinion. However there are some folks who came to August's aid. The southern crooner took to Twitter and responded to the naysayers and shouted out the woman who was on stage. XXL has reached out to August's reps for comment.

After dropping his debut album Testimony in April 2014 and landing two BET Awards, August's year since then has been a rollar coaster. He collapsed on stage during a performance in New York City and wound up in a coma for three days plus he canceled a slew of performances. He also just went through serious eye surgery. He spoke to us recently about his wild year.

"People don’t even know the shit that I experienced," he said. "My new life has become my normal now, it’s normal to me so it’s all I know is to go in. I’m really out the hood, I’m really out the slums, so it’s a whole lotta muthafuckas that I gotta take care of, a whole lotta muthafuckas looking for a handout. On top of the people looking for a handout, if they don’t get that handout you gotta worry about these same niggas tryna kill you or snake you. For example, what they did to Lil Snupe, and that was just getting started. Pretty much every situation that you could think of, I dealt with that shit when it comes to this new lifestyle. It’s like I always say, if you go against what God’s plan for you is, he finds a way to sit your ass down. That’s what it was: “Sit your ass down, August, because you’re doing too much.” [Laughs]"
