August Alsina might have thought he was ready to go back to work after collapsing onstage and falling into a three-day coma last month, but apparently doctors haven't given him a clean bill of health. The 2014 XXL Freshman was scheduled to perform in London today as part of comedian Kevin Hart’s HartBeat Weekend but had to pull out at the advisement of his doctors. He announced the news via his Twitter account. "Apologies to my London/UK fans, @KevinHart4real and #HartBeatWeekend. Docs advised me not to fly, so my performance tomorrow is canceled," he posted.

The singer's team also released a statement regarding the cancellation. “Due to the well-publicized fall from a stage in New York last month which caused August to be hospitalized for more than a week, his medical team has advised him that it would be unwise to travel such distance so soon into his recovery. August has asked us to convey his disappointment and sadness that he will be unable to perform. We all wish him the very best of luck and a speedy recovery.”

Alsina is expected to hit the stage with Usher on the 27-city U R Experience Tour which starts November 1.
