The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

Uno The Activist is one of the new faces of the Atlanta rap scene, receiving plenty of buzz. Releasing his debut project, No More Thotties, in late 2015, Uno then released his standout cut, “Parkin’ Lot Pimpin’,” which helped the rapper build a name for himself in the Southern region. The following year, Uno teamed up with Playboi Carti to release his most popular track to date, "What," which has amassed well over 3 million plays on SoundCloud. Known to frequently collaborate with the likes of Maxo Kream, Thouxanbanfauni and other Southern artists, Uno The Activist is looking to bring his signature sound to the mainstream.
