Tunji Ige got a lot of mileage out of his debut album The Love Project. Since releasing the project in December of 2014, Tunji Ige has delivered a steady diet of videos to support the project. But Tunji is ready to move onto the next stage of his career.

"Functions" serves as a taste of that new direction Tunji Ige is taking in his career. The song is self-produced, showing Tunji's talents both in front of and behind the boards. Tunji is happy to finally be making some moves as he states on the song.

"They see me oh so modest, it don't make sense/You know you made it when your beats can pay rent," Tunji raps.

The music video sees Tunji wandering around Paris as he has no real destination in mind. This effect is heightened by the out of focus visuals employed by director Josh Goldenberg. It's a compelling video which makes you take notice of the young artist.
