NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series has become quite a phenomenon in the music community, and now The Roots are gracing the offices with their own magic. The hip-hop band, which consists of eight or so members, squeeze their way behind the tiny desk in the outlet's offices, where they perform their latest track, "It Ain't Fair."

The new song comes straight off of the Detroit movie soundtrack, and features vocals from singer and songwriter Bilal, as well as hard-hitting bars from Black Thought. The veteran musicians seek to cover issues regarding social justice with a major focus on the late-sixties in Detroit, where the movie is set. Although the performance isn't as roaring in the small offices as it usually is during their stint on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, The Roots offer an incredible rendition of the track that is sure to educate and inspire.

The collective is currently working on their 12th studio album, End Game, and have reportedly recruited 9th Wonder and Salaam Remi to help with the project. There's still no confirmation of the project's release, but fans are hoping it can hit their ears before the end of 2017.
