Famed hip-hop crooner The-Dream and mysterious English production project SBTRKT have teamed up to share some joyful new sounds fit for a new day. Released today (March 22), the new collab is called "Good Morning" and for a first-time listener, it'll be just that. The airy, 4-minute song is emblazoned with strong strings and synthy bass notes as The-Dream describes waking up with the one he loves.

"Let the sun lay on us/Right off the window pane/Baby, get the champagne/Here's to a good morning, here's to a good morning."

The uplifting tone of the new track would fit in perfectly for an ad campaign or even on a morning mix that might include Kanye West's "Ultralight Beam," which ironically also features vocals from The-Dream.

SBTKRT preceded the release of the single by tweeting out a photo the day before of rich, sprawling red mountains. The only words on the image read 'Save Yourself,' which could be the title to their new album. The track premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show and is available for free download now.

This isn't the first time SBTRKT has lent their melodic talents to the hip-hop world. In 2014, the collective toured internationally with former XXL Freshman GoldLink after dropping their sophomore album Wonder Where We Land. The collective has also paired their beats with vocals from former XXL Freshmen Raury, A$AP Ferg and, probably their biggest hip-hop cosign to date, Drake.
