Jay Rock's 90059 follow-up could be coming out soon, and when it does, there's a chance Tee Grizzley will be on it. Recently, Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith uploaded a tantalizing clip of Jay Rock in the studio previewing a song where he seems to make allusion to the ascendant Detroit rhymer being on the track.

"In the stu mixing last nite with @jayrock and @mixedbyali ... We are getting close to lift off ppl... #TDE," Tiffith says, indicating that TDE is in the home stretch of producing Jay Rock's latest project.

In the clip from the post, we can hear Jay Rock spitting over an instrumental that carries the same frenetic tempo as many Detroit songs, like "First Day Out." It sounds like he gets busy on it, and toward the end of the snippet, we hear him say, "Me and Grizzley," leading many to believe Tee is featured on the track.

Jay Rock and Tee hopping on a track together makes so much sense, it's hard to imagine it not happening. Both use super detailed rhymes to tackle the rough communities that raised them, with their authenticity being one of their biggest strengths. We can't say for sure this clip confirms a Jay Rock and Tee Grizzley collab, but we definitely hope it is.

Of course, this post also corroborates Tiffith's earlier claim that Jay Rock would be dropping an album at some point this year, but that's another story. Mozzy and Jay Rock hit the studio together back in February, and Mozzy tells XXL he recorded something for the TDE rapper as well. After all, Jay Rock is featured on "Momma We Made It" from 1 Up Top Ahk.
