You might have had some raucous spring breaks in your day, but they're nothing like the one Denzel Curry and Mike Dece take in their new video for "Ice Age." The private jets and complicated daps in airplane hangars are nothing compared to the psychedelic lens through which the whole experience is filtered--nothing seems completely real, but it isn't so outlandish as to be fantasy. From the beautiful women dabbing his sweat on the private jet to the fluorescent water of the outdoor pools, "Ice Age" is a delirious party that never seems to end. It's a careful aesthetic choice: The song is taken from the Florida rapper's forthcoming double EP, 32 Zel / Planet Shrooms. Curry has previously collaborated with Mike Dece on songs like last year's "The Moon."

Curry became a commodity with the release of his 2013 album, Nostalgic 64. That record featured guest contributions from Raider Klan affiliates like Yung Simmie as well as Florida compatriots like Robb Bank$. Since then, Curry has attacked the mixtape circuit, forging a reputation as an aesthetic leader who nevertheless has the formalist credentials for more conservative rap fans to co-sign. Curry has released one major single each month this year, showcasing his diversity of talents and setting himself up for a long, fruitful solo career separate from the Raider Klan banner under which he came up.
