Back in November of 2016, Nike released its first ever self-lacing sneaker with the release of the HyperAdapt 1.0. Looking to continue innovating the sneaker game once again, the Swoosh has unveiled a new iteration of the technically advanced shoe in a fan-favorite colorway.

Set to release this fall at select global retailers, the next iteration of the HyperAdapt will feature a black mesh upper with hits of red lagoon on the Swoosh branding and heel tab. Decked out with LED lights on the heel and midsole, these Nike shoes light up when using the self-lacing system.

Inspired by Marty McFly’s Mag shoes, the first generation of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 includes electrical and mechanical engineering, with Nike's innovative Zoom Air unit.

Releasing first at select Nike European accounts, the HyperAdapt 1.0 will launch in Berlin, Milan and Paris in early October. The Nike shoes will make their way to North America towards the end of the year, so be on the lookout for more information on this U.S. launch.
