Today, the Los Angeles Lakers will commemorate basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, with a special retirement celebration at the Staples Center arena in L.A. Retiring both of the Black Mamba’s jersey numbers, the Lakers will highlight the 20-year career of the NBA legend. In addition to the celebration, Nike will not only release two retirement jerseys (No. 8 and No. 24), but it will also launch a special collection of commemorative tees and a limited edition set of Air Force 1s.

Releasing tonight during the tip-off between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, the kicks will be available exclusively via nike.com. The set of tees will also release tonight during the halftime period of the game. The Black Mamba Air Force 1s will drop in a black snakeskin-like upper with hits of yellow featured on the Swoosh and heel. On the heel of the sneakers, Nike will add the No. 8 and No. 24, to represent Kobe’s former numbers with the team.

The Kobe x Nike t-shirt collection will feature three brand new tees in all-black and yellow. One tee will feature a photo image of Kobe with his five NBA Championships, while the other two tees will feature the former jersey numbers of Kobe along with the Black Mamba's last name.

Look for the Nike x Kobe Bryant commemorative collection to release tonight around 7:30p.m. (PST).
