Mozzy's legal woes continue to follow his trail. The "In My Prayers" rapper found himself in hot water with Las Vegas authorities on Thursday night (July 5) after being arrested for gun possession, TMZ has learned.

According to the initial report, Mozzy was initially pulled over for a routine traffic stop after failing to signal while switching lanes and operating a vehicle without license plates. To make matters worse, however, upon inspection of the Cali native's luxury car police reportedly discovered a loaded weapon in a black backpack.

Mozzy was subsequently sent to jail but has since been released after posting bail for $5,000. The rapper has yet to publicly comment on the ordeal. XXL has reached out to the Las Vegas Police Department for a comment.

If you recall, the "No Choice" MC has quite a checkered past with the law. Back in 2014, the 31-year-old was put behind bars after being convicted for gun possession and illegal possession of a controlled substance. The current charges could prove to be costly for Mozzy considering that he's since been labeled as an ex-felon.

In the time since his last run-in with the law, Mozzy has continued to unload a handful of solo projects. His most recent song "Pure In The Pack" was released along with a stirring visual and is set to serve as the lead single off his forthcoming album Gangland Landlord.
