Jordan Brand looks make a big splash this All-Star Weekend with a slew of activations and events in the city of Los Angeles. To help celebrate the February festivities even further, Micheal Jordan's brand will release a special edition Air Jordan 9 themed after the City of Angels and this year's NBA All-Star uniform kits, which were done in partnership with the NBA and the Jumpman.

Releasing just days before the NBA All-Star game, this Air Jordan 9 is dressed in the signature black and white colors of the 2018 All-Star Jumpman jerseys. Detailed with graphics inspired by L.A.'s distinct skyline, the sneakers take a more minimal approach with an eye-catching black and white color scheme. Featuring hits of gold on the tongue and heel of each Jordan Brand logo, the sneakers sit atop of a white, thick midsole, to round out the entire look of the pair.

The Air Jordan 9 was originally released in 1993 after Michael Jordan retired from basketball the first time around. Inspired by the baseball cleats MJ wore during his minor league days, the sneakers have been retroed by Jordan Brand multiple times in the past.

Look for Jordan Brand to release the Air Jordan 9 City of Flight sneakers on Feb. 3 for a suggested price of $190.
