In 2014, Jordan Brand paid tribute to the career of Major League baseball player Derek Jeter with a special limited edition release of an Air Jordan 1 Retro. Themed after Jeter’s long time team, the New York Yankees, the shoes sold out in a matter of minutes after its release. Now, three years removed from the initial collaborative drop, Jordan Brand presents an all new Air Jordan 1 iteration, paying homage to the legend of No. 2.

Dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Respect, this pair of sneakers features a multi-color upper in gray and black. With subtle text patterns on the black paneling, the sneaker features several keys words that were symbolic to Jeter during his playing days. In addition, Jordan Brand’s vintage Wings logo is included at the top of each side panel in a black colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Respect iteration is set to release nationwide on Wed., Dec. 13. Retailing for a suggested price of $160, the sneakers will be sold at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers as well as online at nike.com.
