Jadakiss Pleads Not Guilty to Weapons and Drug Possession Charges

Jadakiss was indicted on gun and drug possession charges on Thursday (February 8) and subsequently entered a plea of not guilty according to the Associated Press. The Yonkers, NY rapper was arrested in his hometown on October 7 after police stopped the vehicle he was riding in and discovered a gun and marijuana. Kiss’s lawyer, Clement Patti, insists that his client was riding in the back seat and had no knowledge that a weapon was present in the front of the car. "I have yet to see or hear of any evidence connecting my client to possessing this weapon,” said Patti. If convicted, Kiss could face anywhere from 16 months to seven years in prison.
