After representing hard for his Alabama roots, Jabo is bringing his signature style to the Atlanta scene. The Birmingham, Ala. rising rapper drops his new music video for "Water Whippin" featuring Young Scooter, which finds the two counting stacks of cash.

As a shot of a beautiful model holding a whip and being splashed with water appears, Jabo spits his intense rhymes as he holds big bundles of money in his hands. Later, the rapper is backed by Scooter's hardcore bars in the visual, directed by Cricket of The RiskTakerZ.

The rhymer tells XXL the video was inspired by his story of coming from nothing and turning it into something.

"The inspiration for the video was simply the streets by bringing to life a dope visual that showed the dichotomy of turning nothing into something by using the resources at hand; thus 'Water Whippin' was born," Jabo says. "The video has edgy, raw elements combined with a level of sophistication that Cricket of The RiskTakerZ helped bring to life, and I knew he was the perfect fit to direct this due to the quality of work he's done for everyone in ATL."

He also shares how he linked up with Scooter for the track, and why he decided to recruit the Jugg King spitter to lend some of his bars.

"Growing up in Alabama, all my people over there fucked with Young Scooter, and we already knew each other through mutual acquaintances," Jabo admits. "So when I ran into him at Future's new studio in ATL, I played him the rough of 'Water Whippin' and him, Casino and Gunna were fuckin' with it crazy. He hopped into the booth and instantly kicked that jugg talk making it an instant street classic."

As far as what he has coming up this year, Jabo reveals that he is working with some "Atlanta legends," but doesn't drop any names, leaving fans guessing on what's to come. "I have some big things in store for 2018, and some records already finished with some Atlanta legends," he concludes. "That's all I'ma say for now!"

"Water Whippin" is slated to be on Jabo's upcoming album.
