ja-rule11.jpgJa Rule is heading back to his home borough of Queens, NY to host the upcoming LIFE Camp Weekend from August 17-19 and help raise money for the youth outreach organization. The event is being organized by the LIFE (Love Ignites Freedom through Education) non-profit organization, which was founded in 2002 in order to reach out to at risk youth from the ages of 13-24 that lack access to educational, employment and social opportunities. According to the New York Daily News, Ja is headlining the weekend, and will host the Annual LIFE Camp Inc. BBQ for the People on Saturday August 18 at Craigmeur Park in Morristown, NJ. The weekend will also include a screening of a film called ‘80s Babies, which was produced by students from the LIFE Camp in association with Southeast Queens Neighborhood Network & Spectacular Views. On Monday, local radio personalities Ed Lover, of Power 105.1, and Angie Martinez of Hot 97, will host the Bowling for LIFE Tournament in Hackensack, NJ.
