A Long Island, New York high school vice principal is under fire after appearing in J.R. and Trey Songz' video for "Best Friend." Esther Adler-O'Keefe, who is a vice principal at Southampton High School in Long Island, briefly appears in the clip which features plenty of T and A, strippers, booze and other unruly behavior. The assistant principal is seen at the beginning of the video handing over the keys to her house and returns at the end after she comes home to a trashed house. "Had I known of such content or lyrics, I certainly would not have participated in any fashion," Adler-O'Keefe wrote in an e-mail to Southampton's 27east.com. "I find the lyrics and content of the music video vulgar, offensive and demeaning."

Adler-O'Keefe's appearance in the video was discovered on YouTube by students at Southampton High. The kids left comments like, "The lady who owns the house is my vice principal!" and "shout out to Ms. O'Keefe. She finna blow this video up" on the video's YouTube page. The school district's superintendent issued a statement saying, "The video in question showcases behaviors and language that is not promoted by the Southampton School District. In fact, we actively teach our students the importance of good character and making smart choices. Additionally, this is not representative of who we are as a district, nor of our students and staff."
