Check Out the Damage to Mac Miller’s Car After Hit-and-Run Incident
Early Thursday morning (May 17), Mac Miller was arrested for DUI after a hit-and-run accident took place that involved him driving while under the influence. The rapper was driving his 2016 Mercedes G-Wagon when he hit a utility pole and now TMZ has unearthed footage of the wreck thanks to a photographer on the scene around 1 a.m. PST.
The video finds law enforcement on the San Fernanda Valey, Calif. scene trying to figure out the events that led to the luxury vehicle ending up going off the road. Mac was reportedly accompanied by two others in the car during the accident. One, who is shown smiling throughout the video, has been identified as Miller's close friend Jimmy Murton.
Cops arrived at the 26-year-old's nearby home in the morning, where he complied with police and admitted to have been drinking prior to hitting the pole and fleeing the scene. Following his arrest, the Pittsburgh native was booked and later posted $15,000 bail Thursday afternoon (May 17).
TMZ also filmed Miller as he was leaving jail early this morning, who was tightlipped and declined to comment regarding anything from his accident..
It's been a tough month for the "Donald Trump" MC. Just last week, Ariana Grande confirmed breakup rumors with Mac Miller following a nearly two-year relationship. The pop star posted a lengthy heartfelt message to Instagram, where she referred to The Divine Feminine rapper as her "best friend" following the split.
