New York retailer Extra Butter presents its latest collaboration in partnership with Puma. Dubbed the “Kings of New York” Clyde, the collab pays tribute to the brand’s deeply rooted history in the origins of b-boy and hip-hop culture in the 1970s and 1980s.

Releasing in two colorways, blue and burgundy, with gold accents, the collaborative sneakers feature of a crushed velvet upper with a full leather grain form stripe. In addition, both pair of shoes come equipped with a tan leather heel and tongue while an embossed Extra Butter and Puma logo rounds up the upper of the sneakers. Translucent ice soles with block letter branding underlay the complete full look of the shoes.

Along with the kicks, Extra Butter will release a “Big City of Dreams” lightweight hooded long sleeve, "Kings of New York” tee, and Extra Butter x Secrid card protectors with NYC-inspired laser artwork limited to 50 of each color.

The Puma x Extra Butter Kings of New York collection will range between $45 and $120. Limited in pairs, the kicks will release on Sat., July 8 at a special launch event in NYC, followed by an in-store and online release.
