The strange saga of Tim Dog continues, as a Mississippi court has issued a warrant for the late rapper's death.

As XXL reported last week, the victim of Tim Dog's 2011 fictitious business deal Ester Pilgrim alleged that the rapper faked his death to avoid his court ordered payments. Now, after investigators were unable to find death certificates for the rapper, a judge has issued an arrest warrant for the rapper.

The prosecutor in Tim Dog's original trial Steven Jubera says that he has yet to see any proof confirming the rapper's death.

"I need proof," said Jubera. "I need a death certificate showing that’s he’s dead because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive. Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary...at the bare minimum he would get arrested and sit in jail until his court hearing."

If Tim Dog is indeed alive and in hiding, he owes Pilgrim a total of $19,000. XXL will keep you updated as more details come to light.
