Tonight is the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, highlighting some of the best and brightest that the entertainment world has to offer, and this year is hip-hop heavy. Only three categories—the genre-specific Best Rock Video and MTV Clubland awards and Best Cinematography—don't have a hip-hop nominee, while both Iggy Azalea and Eminem have seven nominations apiece, second only to Beyonce's eight for most on the evening. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj (alongside Jessie J and Ariana Grande) will be kicking off the show, with former XXL Freshman Azalea also scheduled to perform and Beyonce preparing to perform her entire self-titled album.

So, after a 2013 dominated by Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, who will be taking home the top prizes at the 2014 VMAs? Below are all of the categories that include hip-hop performers, and XXL will be updating this post throughout the night as winners are announced.
