Getting diagnosed with cancer is one of the last things a person wants to hear. But, sadly, it happens to millions of people across the globe, including Boosie BadAzz when recently underwent surgery to remove a tumor off his kidney. The Baton Rouge rapper brings his situation to the screen in the new video for the track, "Cancer."

Off his recently released album In My Feelings (Going Thru It), the song is a detailed account from Boosie about the day he found out about the disease and the many thoughts that have swirled around in his mind since then.

In the video, BadAzz shows images of him walking into the hospital and later laid up in a bed with needles in his arms. He also spends time with his family, reading the Bible and just contemplating the whole situation by himself (above).

Boosie recently opened up about his diagnosis with Revolt. “Man I got an MRI, that motherfucker came back like, ‘We found something on your kidney'” he said. “‘You know you got cancer’ and that’s when they told me. That was the first time I found that out.”

In early December, Boosie underwent a successful surgery. He is now on the road to recovery and clearly using music as an outlet to deal with the trying situation.

The rapper also recently revealed plans to make a movie about his life.
