During the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and Irma in Texas and Florida, a number of rappers stepped up to assist with relief efforts. Now, Eminem is doing his part to help the victims.

According to a report from Crain's Detroit Business, the Marshall Mathers LP 2 rapper has teamed up with the Detroit-based StockX to help those in need. Starting today, the public can make donations of $10 or more to the StockX-Eminem Hurricane Relief fund.

Eminem, along with his Marshal Mathers Foundation and metro Detroiter's non-profit, has pledged to match the first $250,000 donated. All proceeds from the campaign will benefit the Greater Houston Community Foundation Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and Team Rubicon.

As an added bonus for those who contribute, each donor gets a shot at winning one of 17 pairs of exclusive sneakers donated by Mark Wahlberg, LeBron James, Steph Curry, Pharrell Williams and Eminem.

"As we watched the tragic events unfold in Florida and Texas, we wanted to leverage our position as a leading marketplace for luxury consumer goods, to turn luxury items into true necessities," StockX CEO and co-founder Josh Luber said in a statement.

It's been a while since we heard new music from Eminem, but in a Jospeh Khan interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director revealed Em had contributed to the soundtrack for the film Bodied.

He said, “By the time [Bodied is] bought and ready for distribution (ICM is selling worldwide rights), Eminem will contribute a number of songs to the soundtrack. [Em and longtime manager Paul Rosenberg] have enlisted Dr. Dre for a couple of songs.”
