Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston, Texas hard, and there are still residents struggling to find dry shelter after flooding and all kinds of damages are taking place across the city. Reports are surfacing that the city has received over 30 inches of rain with more on the way, and with at least 15 deaths already reported, celebrities are stepping up to help in any way they can.

Drake, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Texas native Bun B and more are using their platforms to help encourage others to make donations, find out more information on what residents need, and alert authorities of those that are still in trouble.

The New York Times says Houston did not order evacuations before the storm, leaving some stranded in households that are continuing to fill up with water. Many have even been pleading for help on social media, trying to get the attention of anyone who may able to help with rescuing.

Harvey was originally named as a Category 4 hurricane, with winds that are reaching up to 130 miles per hour. Previously, it moved offshore before making landfall again on the shore of Copano Bay. It is now classified as a Category 3 hurricane.

We will continue to keep the victims of Hurricane Harvey in our prayers, but for now you can make donations to The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and other organizations here. See what those across hip-hop are doing to help below.

“I’m not saying that we don’t need money. It’s going to take a lot of money to rebuild the city of Houston. I’m putting together things right now to organize ways to raise money on a massive scale, not on a smaller scale, on as large a scale as we can possibly do. And money is going to be needed, but I’m saying right now, people stuck in an attic, they don’t need money right now. They need someone with a boat to come save their lives. I’m talking right now, real time, what people need,” Bun B says.
