There’s plenty of new music to sift through. How do you know what is good or bad? Well, that’s where we come in.

Aside from a busy week of interesting news, there’s always a plethora of dope music that drops. Sometimes it’s out of nowhere, and sometimes it is promoted and released right when we expect it. As rap heads, we are all for it and love to talk about the new ish that comes out. In an attempt to keep you up to date with everything, we are going to round up our favorite tracks that we’ve been bumping in the offices. Click through for the best songs of the week.

When Puff Daddy, French Montana or Meek Mill drops a track, the Internet pays attention. That especially goes if they drop a remix over the club wrecking "We Dem Boyz," which just hit the Internet. Wiz Khalifa doesn't come along for this one, but the trio definitely has enough to star power to hold it down by themselves.

The trio's verses don't stray too far from what the song is supposed to soundtrack; there's your Ciroc name drops, the reassurance that they have racks on racks and the possibility of some unsavory activity on the side. Jennifer Lopez's "I Luh Ya Papi," which features French Montana, gets a reference here.

There's already a video for the song shot in Miami, so expect to see more from the adventures of Puff Daddy, French Montana and Meek Mill soon.

Game, Bigger Than Me
loading...

Game has spent the past couple of days making headlines for getting randomly dissed by Gucci Mane and cuffing Nicki Minaj on the "Pills N Potions" video — which led to a bunch of over the top memes. Now, he's doing some old-fashion chest bumping on "Bigger Than Me," which will appear on the upcoming Blood Money La Familia.

Game declares himself the "Black Marshall Mathers" on his newest single, which is a title none of the XXL Freshmen can claim, according to him. "Your Freshmen Cover is full of soft ass niggas," he raps. Other highlights include a rough dis at Frank Ocean, a Spawn (as in the comic book character) reference, a Hulk Hogan namedrop, a Miguel invitation and the obligatory Rich Gang shoutout.

Blood Money La Familia is scheduled to drop on Sept. 16.

Two days after appearing on the remix to "We Dem Boyz," French Montana joins Chinx for a Coke Boys sendoff into the weekend. "The Silence" has dropped, and it's produced by Harry Fraud. Anybody who's heard Coke Boys 4 is well aware the Harry Fraud/Coke Boy combo has a pretty good batting average when it comes to making fireworks.

The two wax a bit about gritty street truths over mournful vocals and guitar notes; French Montana dolefully mourns on the hook about enemies wanting to see him killed.

"The Silence" is a bonus cut off the newly released untagged version of Cocaine Riot 4, which is available on iTunes.

Better late than never. Gates is most likely the last rapper to hop on Que's "OG Bobby Johnson." Luca Brasi Story 2 dropping soon? Listen closely.

G-Unit is really back in full effect. After a string of taking over other people's beats, The Unit delivers a track of their own to test the waters. "They Talked About Jesus" has all of them dropping A-1 verses. Considering Game didn't bite his tongue on his new single "Bigger Than Me," it looks like we're really reliving the 2000s again. Listen to the new track above.
