It pays to have good lawyers. 50 Cent escaped possible jail time striking a plea deal to have all but one of the charges dropped in a June domestic violence incident with his child's mother, according to TMZ. As previously reported, Fif's BM Daphne Joy accused the Queens rapper of kicking her and destroying property in her house during a heated spat back in June. In July, he was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism. The rap mogul denied the allegations and later pled not guilty during a hearing in August. Now, Jackson's lawyers have worked out a deal to have the domestic violence charge dropped while pleading no contest to only one vandalism charge. Today, he was sentenced to 3 years probation and 30 days of community service. He was also ordered to pay Joy $7,100 in restitution. If convicted Jackson would have faced up to $46,000 in fines and five years in prison.
