Webbie Gets Baptized on Easter Sunday

Resurrection Sunday is all about starting anew. That's what Weebie did this past Easter Sunday (Apr. 5) when he decided to get baptized.

According to TMZ, the Baton Rouge native attended a church service, where the pastor asked if anyone wanted to be baptized. Web said the Lord spoke to him and he was moved to take the step of faith. Check out the footage below.

Webster has been quiet on the music scene since the start of the new year. Back in December, he was featured on Big Trill's "Trippy Hoe" along with Gorilla Zoe. That month, a rumor surfaced about a Webbie diss track directed at 50 Cent. The Savage Life rapper claimed that Fif owed him $1 million after losing a boxing bet earlier in the year. An unreleased track called “What I Been Thru” was recorded, where Web aired out his beef with the New York spitta. Prior to the track, the Louisiana rapper released a new mixtape, Money Good. The 12-track project continues to get play while we await Savage Life 5.
