Webbie is in some serious trouble. According to BRproud.com, the rapper, real name Webster Gradney, Jr., was arrested on charges of domestic abuse after his live-in girlfriend alleged he and his entourage held her against her will in a room at a local Comfort Inn for two hours.

Once Webbie's girlfriend left the hotel, she told Baton Rouge authorities the rapper had attacked her with "a closed fist, an open hand, and a belt" and at one point held her on the ground by pushing his knee into her throat, temporarily cutting off her airflow.

According to officers aiding Webbie's girlfriend, she had sustained visible injuries, including welps on her thighs and back several inches in length along with lacerations, abrasions and bruises "consistent with abuse."

Authorities say the victim claims Webbie had been using cocaine and marijuana for two days straight and that he had taken her cellphone away from her. She says this attack doesn't represent the first time he's been violent and verbally abused her, but it is her first time reporting this behavior to authorities.

Baton Rouge authorities have booked Webbie, who's known for hit singles "Independent" and his affiliation with Boosie BadAzz, for domestic abuse by strangulation, false imprisonment, second-degree battery, theft, and simple criminal damage to property.
