Today, New York retailer Supreme unveils its latest collaboration with popular Japanese manga series Akira. Presenting a full range of clothing items and accessories, the collaboration takes cues from the original artwork created by renowned artist Katsuhiro Otomo.

The brand new fall 2017 capsule collection from Supreme and Akira consists of—fishtail parka jackets, work jackets, coveralls, jacquard long sleeve top shirts, soccer jerseys, two hooded sweatshirts, zip-up hoodies, four short sleeve graphic tees, long sleeve t-shirts, 5-panel hats, skateboard decks, ceramic plates and a smoking tray. With each item featuring different graphic designs from the show, the collection will tell the story of characters Kaneda and Tetsuo during the Post-World War III era.

The animated Akira series was first launched in 1982 and quickly became a fan-favorite among the young Japanese viewers. Concluding in 1990, the series is credited for introducing manga and anime culture to the Western world.
