During an appearance on Larry King Live this past Friday (February 1), Snoop Dogg announced that the ban placed on him by the U.K. government has been lifted. The rapper was banned from entering the country last year after he and his crew were involved in a brawl with several police officers at London’s Heathrow Airport. The altercation occurred after Snoop and his entourage were denied entry to the British Airways first class lounge. Although he was not charged in the incident, authorities implemented the ban after considering the Long Beach MC’s criminal history. In the following months, a video tape of the incident surfaced on the internet that seemed to back up Snoop’s claim that his group was not at fault. According to MTV UK, the rapper explained to King that a judge has reviewed the evidence and overturned the ban. “I was wrongfully accused and now I've been accepted back in,” he told the host. “The judge overturned it.”
