SmokePurpp's Pitch for 2017 XXL Freshman

The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

SmokePurpp is from Broward County, Fla., and is fresh off signing to Interscope and Alamo Records. His fan base is rabid, with his supporters flocking to his music whenever he drops something new. One of Smoke's biggest songs is “Ski Mask,” which has over 7 million plays on SoundCloud. Smokepurpp is gearing up to drop his new mixtape, DEADSTAR. He's released a few tracks this year such as “Houdini” with MadeinTYO, “She Say” and “No Smoke.”
