Smokepurpp Gets Turnt in New “Phantom” Video
Fresh off of dropping his debut mixtape DEADSTAR, Smokepurpp is back with a video for the song "Phantom." While not featured on the rapper's most recent project, Smokepurpp released the track the same day he put out DEADSTAR.
The short video finds Smoke switching between a garage and driveway as he and his crew, which includes Lil Pump, turn up while in and out of exotic cars. With a blunt in one hand and cup of lean in the other, Smokepurpp will have any viewer bobbing along to the video and song.
While the 20-year-old rapper's newest mixtape may be his debut project, it isn't short on star power. The 16-song mixtape includes features from Chief Keef, Yo Gotti, Juicy J and D.R.A.M. Production on the tape was handled by Ronny J, Ice Bream, TM88, Lowtown, Slight, Harry Fraud and Nova.
Smokepurrp may be a newcomer to the game, but the rapper has already found himself signed to a record label. In March, it was revealed the Florida artist inked a deal with Todd Moscowitz's Alamo Records under Universal Music Group. As a bonus gift, Smokepurpp received a $50,000 diamond chain. He's also the newest member of Travis Scott's Cactus Jack label.
