Smokepurpp Launches THC Lean to Help People Battle Addiction
Smokepurpp is using his platform to make a difference. On Monday (Nov. 5), The Florida rapper launched "Purppavis," a business venture that will theoretically help people combat lean addiction. Purppavis is in partnership with his manager, Mogul Vision Ventures and the Los Angeles-based Kvsh Brand.
Addressing his latest business venture on his Instagram story, Purpp shared that he is creating THC and CBD based syrups. The syrups will come in a variety of flavors including strawberry, pineapple, watermelon and green apple. In the future, the company will introduce pre-rolled joints, concentrates, topicals, edibles and limited edition merchandise.
"My goal is to make Purppavis a lifestyle brand for marijuana lovers," the "Nephew" rapper said on Instagram. "THC Lean is the first product because I wanted to create a positive alternative to actual lean. I know it ain't healthy and I wanna use my platform to make a difference for myself and my supporters."
In other Purpp news, the Bless Yo Trap artist jumped onto Instagram Live to share that his debut studio album Deadstar 2 is coming sooner than later. "I plan on dropping it soon, very soon," he said.
According to Purpp, the delay for the album stems from clearance issues and the desire for his project to be perfect. "The reason it hasn't dropped yet is because I'm working on all the clearances, the features, I'm trying to make this the best album I've ever made," he said.
Although Purppavis products won't be available at local dispensaries until early 2019, there will be updates on Instagram and tasting pop-ups in Los Angeles.
