It's been a tough year and a stellar year all-in-one for Rich Homie Quan. The rapper received his first solo platinum plaque off of the success of his latest single "Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh)" and  at the same time split with his longtime label Think It's A Game Entertainment, not to mention the countless rape lyric allegations that have popped up over the course of this year. However, it's safe to say that no matter what drama may arise, RHQ's talent and catchy dance moves have been the true highlight of the past year, and has many fans yearning for the release of his as-yet-untitled debut album. Expected to drop in 2015, very little information has leaked about the approaching project, leaving many to wonder if it will indeed hit shelves over the next few months.

Since the rapper has been mum on the topic for awhile, down in Atlanta, XXL linked up with the 2014 XXL Freshman to get the scoop on his current endeavors. During the sit-down, Quan told us that his debut is complete and features hip-hop veterans from Lil Wayne to Jadakiss. He also clarified his current headspace, explained that the push back on his album is due to label issues and more. Press play above.
