Pro Era Rapper Capital Steez Reportedly Passes Away
Capital Steez—born Jamal Dewar—is reportedly dead in the opening hours of Christmas Eve. He was 19.
Details are still scarce, but Steez tweeting late last night “The End,” which is believed the rapper committed suicide. Joey Bada$$ reacted to the news this morning, confirming Steez’ death with “RIP Capital Steez 7.7.93 – 12.24.2012.”

On December 21, Pro Era released their first compilation mixtape, PEEP: The aPROcalypse. Steez also released his own solo project called AmeriKKKan Koruption and appeared on standout cuts with Bada$$ such as “Survival Tactics” and “Suspect.”
