Continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game-changing Foamposite sneaker, today Nike announces the re-release of one of the most coveted colorways in the Foamposite sneaker line.

After a five year hiatus, Nike is bringing back the metallic red iteration of the Air Foamposite One, next weekend. Dressed in a red shiny metallic sheen, the upper also features hits of black along the tongue, sock liner, midsole and heel tab. A white Swoosh Nike check adds a bit of a pop to the canvas of the shoes while the outsole features an icy translucent bottom.

This metallic red iteration will join the likes of the Copper and the Royal models, as the only three silhouettes to be re-released so far during the 20th anniversary of the shoes.

The Nike Air Foamposite One Metallic Red will make its return to select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide on Sat., May 19. Set to retail for suggested price of $220, the shoes will be hot commodity when they release.
