Continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game-changing Foamposite sneaker, today Nike announces the upcoming release of a brand new, never-before-seen version of the popular basketball silhouette. Introducing for the first time ever a teal green iteration, Nike presents one of its brightest and most vibrant Foamposites of all time.

Dubbed as the "Island Green" pair, these Foamposite sneakers are dressed in a teal green shiny metallic sheen with hits of black featured on the tongue, heel tab, midsole and outsole. An icy translucent bottom will complement the sneakers' outsole while a metallic silver Swoosh rounds out the entire look of the pair.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro was first released in 1997. Made famous by former NBA superstar Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, the shoe was first released in a royal blue iteration to tie in with the Orlando Magic's uniform colorways. Since then, the Swoosh has released multiple versions of the Foamposite sneaker with the latest version set to drop in the coming days.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Island Green will release at select Nike Sportswear retailers starting Fri., Sept. 8. Set to retail for suggested price of $230, look for these shoes to be a hot commodity upon their release.
