It looks like Nike is not only celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Foamposite sneaker with the release of the original Royal Blue Foamposite, but the Swoosh also has plans to bring back the highly coveted Air One Foamposite shoe in the copper colorway, an iteration that was quite popular when it first released in 2010.

Re-releasing in its original form, the 2017 drop of the Nike Air One Foamposite features a metallic copper ribbed shell upper with hits of black detailed on the sock liner, tongue, heel and midsole. Rounding out the sneakers' overall look is an icy blue translucent outsole, giving the shoes the proper contrast needed.

The copper version of the Foamposite dropped seven years ago to much acclaim and was quickly sold out in a matter of days. With 2017 marking the anniversary of the classic basketball shoe, it was only a matter of time before Nike brought back this popular iteration.

The shoe, made famous by Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, will be one of Nike's main focuses this year and with the royal blue iteration set to drop in the coming weeks, look for this copper version to drop at some point in the month of April.
