Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse Unveil Art of a Champion Collection

Earlier today (April 9), Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse teamed up to globally unveil the Art of a Champion footwear collection, themed after 16 timeless performances by 16 former NBA champions. Comprised of a wide range of styles and coveted silhouettes, the Art of a Champion collection will begin to roll out at select footwear retailers starting later this month.

Unveiled during a special media launch event this morning, Nike, Converse and Jordan Brand introduced 15 remastered versions of their most popular silhouettes. Featuring an array of high top and low top sneakers, the all-new collection includes—Nike Kobe 1 Protro, Converse Fastbreak Hi, Nike Air Maestro II, Air Force 1 High Retro Rude Awakening, Converse Chuck 70 Ox, Air Jordan 11 Low Rook to Queen, Air Jordan 1 Pass The Torch, Converse Star Player Ox, Air Force 1 Low Retro, Nike Zoom KD IV, Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 1, Converse Pro Leather Mid, Air Jordan 14 Bred, Air Jordan 18 Locked and Loaded and the Air Force 270 Gold Standard.

With 14 out of the 16 sneakers releasing between the months of April and May, Nike, Jordan and Converse will unleash the final two silhouettes of the Art of a Champion collection in June. While only 15 sneakers have been unveiled, the final shoe will be themed after this year's NBA Champion, so look for Nike to reveal the sneaker after this year's championship.
